He decides to help Mei Yan win back the rights to bring up the child through legal recourse. Hong makes use of Kai Mei’s name in order to cheat. Sai Bond cuts him out by renouncing his relationship with Hong in the press, which infuriates Hong. Hong decides to avenge. One night, Mei Yan is drunk. While fetching some water for her baby, she skids and falls with her baby down the staircase, and the baby is injured. A private detective hired by Hong happens to be there and takes photos of the incident. Hong uses these to blackmail Yan again, which is a further blow to Mei Yan, whose health suffers as a result. Unwilling to be taken by the nose by Hong, Sai Bond arranges to beat Hong up. Hong is furious, and blackmails Mel Yan again……".
