Volunteers continue to dwindle as the side effects turn deadly, until a letter finally comes from the government ordering Dr. Kiritsis to leave the island and stop the experimental drug trials. Also Stavros and Kalliopi are found at an impasse and escape from the island with their daughter and with Dimitri's help.".
