BONG tries to get close to MAI at Dok Kee and finds that she is very knowledgeable. BONG sends FUNG and the secretaries away from the office. When MAI goes to SELECTION for food delivery, BONG claims that no secretary is around and asks MAI to take a record of the conference. BONG requires TUNG to employ MAI but TUNG reminds him about the notice of the personnel department regarding the recruiting hold. BONG attempts to press on TUNG as his boss and makes him hire MAI. TUNG anxiously turns to FUNG for help. FUNG suggests telling BONG that he cannot break the company rules but TUNG dare not do it. FUNG indicates that she will offer her full support. FUNG gets an old courtier from the personnel department to deal with BONG at the meeting. BONG plays the same old trick to pressurize everybody. Yet FUNG argues strongly on just grounds and it makes BONG boil with anger.… ...".
